Crysis 2: PC Gamers get PC Game

Crysis was always best suited for the PC. It is (for the moment) the ultimate PC game. But then consoles got better and they really couldn’t be avoided.
However, PC gamers can now rejoice!! The PC version of Crysis will be… a PC game!! This is great news for those that fell in love with the concept and visual presence of such a high-end, PC spec melting, power hungry title.
Due to the increased budget given to the developers, PC gamers (sorry to all soon to be console owners of the game) will get a better game than the original. With additional funds helping towards multiplatform development, gameplay hasn’t been pushed aside just to make these versions. More time has been spent on research, making the game more accessible, streamline and more fun. Could this then mean the game is easier? I hope not.
Of course the visuals will beast over the original, but it should be noted that every aspect of the game has been improved. It’s been improved so much that you won’t need to wait several years before you can afford PC upgrades just to go “wow!” Even if you have the minimum spec required to run the game, the experience will be of a higher quality than that of Crysis.
I, for one, cannot wait for this game!
How would you like to experience Crysis? To the minimum recommended spec? Or to the extreme?! Leave your comments below.
… Time to start saving some pennies…
Crysis 2 is released on the 22nd March 2011
