Since when, with how mainstream consoles have become in recent years, was it possible to have a PC only FPS? Hard Reset has appeared from near enough nowhere, breaking this console and PC trend, and has hit us right in the sweet spot… wherever that might be!
As I sit here waiting for my demo to download via Steam, from what seems to be floating around the internet, Hard Reset is a blast!
Newly formed Polish developers, Flying Wild Hog, are the brains behind this all out action shooter. Their aim was to return the FPS scene to how we all remember it. Reminiscing about the time before regenerating health, constant reloads of weapons and hiding behind cover.
And to show they are keen to keep gamers attracted to this title, Flying Wild Hog have implemented fixes for several bugs raised by those who downloaded the demo. Those also include bugs that were found upon the games launch today. Some of these fixes are your general bug fixes, slight interface changes and added some more checkpoints to save game progress, as it appears the checkpoint system is a pain.
To get your hands on a copy of Hard Reset which was released today, get searching for the title via Steams’ Store, or navigate over to Steam’s website and dish out £22.99 for the download.
