A few days ago, Bethesda Softworks announced to the world of Mac users that RAGE was now available on their Mac-puters.
In a joint collaboration with the leader in Mac games publishing company, Aspyr Media, the wastelandic action packed shooter from id Software appeared as a downloadable game on Apple’s Mac App Store for £27.99.
Well, only the single player made the cut. There is no news on what happened to the multiplayer aspect of the game, which would have pro-longed the games life. After completing the single player mode, I didn’t feel the need to venture out into the wastelands again.
On the plus note however, this release does pack some additional content which appeared as the Anarchy Edition on PC, PS3 and Xbox 360. This includes a double barrel shotgun, Fists of RAGE, Crimson Elite Armor and finally the Rat Rod Buggy. Also shoved in the download are additional Wasteland Sewers Missions.
As with all computer related games, system requirements are specified. I at first thought there wouldn’t be any for Mac’s but how wrong was I?!

Are you owners of a Mac-puter like I am? Think RAGE is something you will purchase although it has no multiplayer? The Steam version is £29.99… Is that not more tempting? Let us know what you think below.
