The latest character-led event is now live, with the Overwatch Baptiste’s Reunion Challenge running until July 1st, 2019.
It’s similar to previous events for characters including Ana and D.Va which tie into the lore and short stories published about the Overwatch heroes. To coincide with the event, you can read a full short story about Baptiste called What You Left Behind, written by Alyssa Wong (the link goes to the PDF of the story).
Baptiste’s Reunion Challenge allows you to collect a new Combat Medic skin, eight new character sprays, and a player icon by playing the game and watching selected Twitch streamers at specific times. You’ll need to have a linked Blizzard and Twitch account for the drops to be activated.
Overwatch Baptiste’s Reunion Challenge In-Game Rewards
Fortunately earning the rewards in Overwatch is pretty simple. Just play the weekly arcade matches as normal, and you’ll be rewarded for wins in addition to the normal benefits. Or get the special sprays and skin by winning in Quick Play or Competitive.
The new Baptiste skin looks pretty cool, although we’re not sure about the benefit of having a target essentially put on your head with the cross symbol!
Overwatch Baptiste’s Reunion Challenge Twitch Rewards
To receive the eight specific sprays, you’ll need to have a linked Blizzard and Twitch account. And then watch the selected Twitch streamers at specific times for a total of 6 hours to unlock everything.

Baptiste is the latest to join the Overwatch Hero roster, having appeared in March, 2019. The Support character mixes a Biotic Launcher burst rifle with a matrix field which amplifies your team’s firing, along with a forcefield and grenades for healing. Plus Exo Boots for jumping higher after crouching.
