So we may have mostly switched to Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3, and the latest news is that there will be a new Call of Duty game released by Treyarch later this year, but Black Ops still has a lot of dedicated fans. In fact, we know several gamers who have gone back Blops multiplayer after becoming frustrated with MW3, and although it certainly wasn’t perfect, there are several ways in which it hasn’t been bettered by the latest game.
If you’re still playing Black Ops, or you didn’t quite manage to get to 15th Level Prestige before Modern Warfare 3 was released, you’ll be pleased to know there’s a Double XP weekend from today, Friday February 10th at 10am PST, to Monday, February 13th at 10am PST.
Double XP and 24/7 Firing Range this weekend
So it’s the perfect time to dip back into one of the best in recent FPS history. Alongside the Double XP across all platforms is the news that Firing Range will feature as the 24/7 Playlist Map after a public vote on Facebook. It beat Summit and Stadium as the choice of fans, and it’s a map we’ve always enjoyed, so hopefully we’ll see you on there this weekend?
