Cod:AW – Rust spotted in Supremacy DLC map

Sledgehammer have managed to sneak a remake of Modern Warfare 2’s Rust into one of the maps from the Supremacy DLC, Compound.

This picture shows the re-creation of Rust, from Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2, outside new map, Compound.

You can’t see it when playing on the map, but if you go into spectator mode in a private match and move away from the map, you’ll see a full re-creation of the popular MW2 map just outside the playable area.

Whether or not this is a hint at Rust making a comeback, the same way Highrise has, or whether it’s something Sledgehammer have added just to tease us, we do not know. but if and when we hear anything regarding Rust’s potential come back, we’ll be sure to let you know!

For now, though, here’s a video made by Youtuber PrestigeisKey showing how to find Rust on the new map…
