Fans of first person hack, slash, spells and crossbow action have something to look forward to in summer, with the Warhammer: Vermintide 2 Winds of Magic DLC for August, 2019.
The expansion will introduce Beastmen, the warp-spawned hybrids of animals and primitive humans. It also includes new gameplay with eight winds to challenge players, and a new nearly endless difficulty curve to really test you. Along with new leaderboards to allow you to compare yourself against other players.
And along with the Beastmen, we all enjoy new weapons. Bardin the dwarf gets a new throwing axe, and all the Vermintide 2 heroes will get a unique new weapon.
“Winds of Magic is the next chapter in the Vermintide 2 saga, and it brings plenty of new material to the already well established Vermintide 2 universe.” say Martin Wahlund, CEO Fatshark. “The Beastmen alone is a great addition, but combining it with new ways to play the game, new weapons, new challenges, and all the winds, will make Vermintide 2 look like a completely new game.”
