After it was widely reported that www.modernwarfare3.com currently redirects to the official website for Battlfield 3, it appears someone at Activision has now woken up as the company has now filed a domain name dispute with the National Arbitration Forum. This is rather amusing, especially as I spent all day working on websites including FPSPrestige. It seems that noone at Activision thought to register the web domain www.modernwarfare3.com. EA to close online servers, including Battlefield 2: Modern Combat
EA has announced that it will retire a total of 17 game servers in August and October 2011, meaning that you'll only be able to enjoy those games offline in the future.
