Breach developers Atomic Games now have the certified gold master of the game, due for release on Xbox 360 and PC on January 26th, 2011. It will be available as an Xbox Live download for 1200 MS Points, and will also be available instores for the PC for £19.99.
Atomic Games specialises in simulations for the U.S military and intelligence agencies, and promises that the game will be more realistic in the ways gamers can use and destroy cover around them to change the outcome of each battle. Each gun in the game as been licensed by their manufacturers, and there is a specific Hardcore mode, which can be applied to any map or game type, and which features:
- Sole Survivor game type: One life and no re-spawns
- Minimal HUD experience: Aiming reticule and other items are turned off.
- Disabling of Mini-Map radar system.
- Disabling of Kill Cam system.
- Disabling of ammo counter and weapon fire-mode display.
- Modified Damage, making firefights more deadly.
