The 2012 Jeep Wrangler Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 Special Edition has been revealed just in time for the Call of Duty XP event this weekend, and continues the partnership between the off-road vehicle manufacturer and the CoD series. Last year a special edition was created for Black Ops, but this year, Jeep will also feature in the single player game, spec-ops and multiplayer modes (Vehicles? In Call of Duty? Unless it’s a twist on the RXCD?)
Based on the Jeep Wrangler Rubicon, you can chose a two or four door model (Co-op or Team Deathmatch?) in black or silver with the Modern Warfare 3 graphics and logos. You also get a redesigned front bumper, new bonnet with mesh inserts, 32-inch off-road tires on black wheels and a rear bumper with included reservoir. And you can upgrade with a winch, a lift kit and five-spoke wheels.
Inside you’ll get black seats with Call of Duty logos, a plaque on the dashboard, and floor and rear mat also featuring the Modern Warfare 3 icons. More importantly for car fans, you get Chrylser’s 3.6 litre, 285 horsepower V6, some weight saving, and either a five-speed automatic or a six-speed manual gearbox.
