Infinity Ward Community Coordinator Candice Capen has confirmed that there will be some form of co-operative mode included in Call of Duty: Ghosts, although no further details have been revealed:
@doyneamite @markderidder we’ll have a cooperative mode of sort, but we’re not announcing it yet and I’ve no clue when/if we will

The previous Call of Duty: Modern Warfare games have usually included the ‘Spec Ops’ co-op mode, with Modern Warfare 3 also including a Survival mode which saw players fend off waves of enemies.
Personally, we prefer those options to the increasingly complex Zombie mode employed by the Black Ops games. Hopefully the number of players able to combine forces will be moved up from 2 in all previous games, to allow parties to co-operate together.
Call of Duty: Ghosts is due out in November, and pre-orders include some exclusive content for both Ghosts and the current installment, Black Ops 2. For instance Game is offering a free map.
