Starcrown is the second co-operative campaign map released for science-fiction shooter Interstellar Marines. Players will need to team up to face an unscripted AI by using stealth to infiltrate the Starcrown Aerospace industrial-military base. Apparently there’s vital research data to be found.
It’s the second co-op map for Interstellar Marines, which originally launched on Steam Early Access back in July, 2013. Since then 16 updates have been made available, alongside numerous fixes. 5 additional challenge-style co-op maps are also now available.
“In just a few short months we have released seven co-op maps”, said Kim Haar Jørgensen from developers Zero Point Software. “That’s many hours of intense, old-school co-operative and singleplayer gameplay our players can now enjoy with their friends. We’ve been compared many times to the Rainbow 6 series of games, and as they’re a heavy influence on us we’re extremely proud of that!”
Interstellar Marines is available to purchase for Mac and PC on Steam. At the moment the holiday sale price until January 2nd is £10.49.
