EA have released the first few pictures of Criminal Activity, Battlefield Hardline’s first DLC pack, available for early access in June.
Backwoods is one of the four new maps included in the Criminal Activity DLC, and it’s the first of the four that we have official pictures of.
Set deep in the mountains amongst the redwoods and an old lumber mill now used as a drug production facility, Backwoods is the largest of the four new maps. Designed to act as a counterpart to Hardline’s traditional urban jungle maps, this natural, organic map consists of gullies, hills, rocks and gushing rivers, and also a destroyable bridge that whilst standing, acts as the link between the two halves of the map.
Playable in all game modes, it’s suggested that Hotwire is probably the best mode for the map. The large open spaces, rivers and ridges make for great fun whilst shaking off or chasing down your enemies. A “totally beautiful” map, according to EA, Backwoods is hopefully a sign of more good things to come from the Criminal Activity DLC.
EA have also released a sneak peak of a few of the new masks that will be available on Criminal Activity. The Rabbit mask comes with a 10% Gearhead XP bonus, and the Wolf and Gorilla masks come with a 10% Teamplay XP bonus and 20% Rep XP bonus, respectively.
Stay tuned for more Criminal Activity updates!
