Sledgehammer Games have announced that new Legendary and Retired Gear Classes will be introduced into Advanced Warfare, and will be available on Xbox on June 9th.
The new Legendary Supply Drop Loot is “more elite than elite”, Sledgehammer Games have said. It offers you the chance to unlock the Sentinel CI gear set, of which there was only one in existence until now. The rarest gear set in all of Advanced Warfare, the Sentinel CI gear set will be unlocked in eight pieces, all of which will be available in Regular and Advanced Supply drops, and will be highlighted purple in the Armory. Another new change is the Retired Supply Drop Loot. Along with all of the gear Sledgehammer are adding to their Supply Drop and Advanced Supply Drop systems, they will also be retiring certain gear and weaponry, starting on June 9th for both Xbox platforms. The weapons will no longer be available in supply drops, and will be added to a new Retired rarity class. If you already have the retired items in your Armory. don’t worry – you’ll still be able to use them in-game. They are effectively being discontinued, so those who don’t have them already will no longer be able to acquire them. Here’s the first set of gear and weapons to be retired…
No date has been announced for the Legendary and Retired Supply Drop Loots for PC or either of the Playstation platforms yet, but we expect that to come soon so keep your eyes peeled!
