Metro Conflict is a new free-to-play FPS based on Unreal Engine 3, and developed by Red Duck. And an open beta for the PC shooter starts on June 22nd, 2015 at 4pm Pacific Time, to run as a server stress test before the game is fully released on June 29th.
Published by OGPlanet, the game will feature 9 classes, including offensive, defensive and support roles for death match, and team-focused games. Unusually for a free-to-play multiplayer game, apparently there will also be unique story missions. It’s set in a near-future metropolis.
The beta is open to North American and European players, and any progress you make will carry over to the full game. You’ll also receive a gold pixel-player knife skin at launch.
