Big news! For the first time ever, Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 DLC and Beta will launch first on PS4.
The Beta will be available on PS4 in August, and soon after on PC and Xbox One. There will be no Beta for Xbox 360 or PS3.
PlayStation announced that the Call of Duty: Black Ops III multiplayer beta will launch first on PS4, starting in August. The beta will also be available on Xbox One and PC at a later date. Actual beta launch dates and details have not been released yet.

The deal between Activision and PlayStation to bring Black Ops 3 DLC to PS4 gamers first has caused mass disappointment amongst Xbox fans, but is excellent news for those who play on PS4. No details have been announced regarding the amount of time between the consoles receiving the DLC packs, but we assume it’ll be similar to the 30 day delay like before.
Call of Duty: Black Ops III DLC map packs will debut first on PlayStation platforms, to be followed by other platforms at a later date. Actual DLC map pack dates and details have not been released yet.
Sony has also hinted that future Call of Duty titles will be within this agreement by saying that Black Ops 3 is just the “start” of the deal, which is more bad news for Xbox fans.
