Led It Rain is definitely one of the strangest genre combinations of 2015, if not in videogame history. And the ‘first person shooter motorcycle racing game’ is now on Steam Greenlight. Yes, it really is an FPS game in which you ride a motorcycle around three laps of each level, trying to go as fast as possible whilst also shooting as many zombies as you can.
The retro-looking game has now been Greenlit for a future Steam release. So if you want to combine riding a motorcycle inside a mansion or the depths of hell while also trying to shoot monsters and zombies, there’s now a game for you.
In addition to a soundtrack which sounds so bad it might actually be good, the game also promises bikini-clad babes, mounted sharks and wheelchair zombies. So Duke Nukem meets Carmageddon. Finnish developers Ataverti are also working on Panzer Rex, which involves dinosaurs mounted with big machine guns fighting it out, so whatever they’re putting in the water in Finland is obviously having some kind of effect.
