Ubisoft, Xbox and the ESL have partnered for the launch of the Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six Pro League. The league competition will start in the first week of March, 2016 with an opening ceremony at the Intel Extreme Masters in Katowice, Poland on March 4 with a showcase of European PC competition.
The Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six Siege league will begin with a total of 8 matches, and gameplay in North America and on the Xbox One platform to follow. They’ll be competing for an initial $100,000 prize fund, as eight teams from each region on Xbox One and PC will compete, with the four best on each platform (two from each region) invited to play in the Seasons Finals for the title and the biggest share of the prize pool.
Aspiring games wanting to hone their sills and find entry into the Pro Leagues can compete in ESL Play competition up to, and throughout the Pro League season.
So if you think you’re good enough, now is definitely the time to get the hours into Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six: Siege!
