The Arma 3 Apex Expansion has been officially announced at E3 2016 by developers Bohemia Interactive. It’s due for release on July 11th, 2016 and is based on the South Pacific archipelago of Tanoa.
In addition to a new environment, you’ll get access to 13 new classic and near-future weapons and 10 new vehicles will will include VTOL aircraft and Logistic Support Vessels (LSVs). There’s also a new 1-4 player co-op campaign as you take on the role of a NATO CTRG operator to try and prevent a humanitarian disaster in Tanoa.
Arma 3 Apex is already available for pre-order with a 20% discount via Steam and the Bohemia Store. The normal price is £24.99 or $34.99. And if you’re picking up Arma 3 for the first time, a new Arma 3 Apex Edition costs £44.99 or $69.99.
If you pre-order you also get Sneak Preview Access from today by going into your Steam Library and installing the work-in-progress build of the expansion.
