Space survival game Hellion has been out on Steam Early Access for a while now. And developers Zero Gravity have responded to early feedback. Many of the issues and suggestions are being incorporated into the first major update for the game, Hellion update 0.2, which will be released on June 22nd, 2017.
Hellion update 0.2 will include a range of new content and features. For starters there will be a new tutorial, which should help you start out in the multiplayer survival game. There will also be a new security system, and ways to customise your ship and station.
Plus new content includes a female character option, new weapons, and a new loot distribution. Plus gameplay and stability improvements. Check out this Hellion teaser video for a taste of the first person space survival title, and what the new update will bring.
“We have addressed the issues raised by the players and critics and are proud to announce the upcoming Hellion update 0.2”, said Marko Smiljanic, Creative Director at Zero Gravity. “Along with improved navigation, enhanced flight systems and overall optimization, the new update will bring additional content such as a loot distribution system dividing the solar system into civilian, industrial and military zones as well as an elaborate security system including authorization, a locking and unlocking system and defense turrets”.
In addition to the new zones, there will also be doomed outposts as new world events. Which should mean plenty more for anyone already enjoying Hellion, and new players as well.
