Call of Duty: WW2 may be returning to the historical military setting of the original games in the series. But the futuristic Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare still has plenty of fans since being released in 2014. The Sledgehammer Games-led title was set in the mid-21st Century, with the Sentinel Task Force and private military corporation Atlas forming the basis of a story featuring actor Kevin Spacey in a lead role. And Exo Zombies had an impressive cast including John Malkovich, Rose McGowan, Jon Bernthal, Bill Paxton and Bruce Campbell. And you can still celebrate the title with the last call for the CoD: Advanced Warfare Xbox One Console bundle.
To celebrate and tie-in with the game, Microsoft released a special limited edition CoD: Advanced Warfare Xbox One console bundle. In addition to the game, you got a special 1 Terabyte Xbox One and controller with a Sentinel Task Force-inspired design. And it does look pretty sweet,
You can still find used Advanced Warfare bundles available online for around £400 on ebay. And the same is true on Amazon, with the occasional example popping up with a new price of around £700!
But it turns out that specialist importer Play-Asia have the Japanese edition of the CoD: Advanced Warfare Xbox One console bundle in stock. And not only is it available (and will work with all games sold worldwide), but it’s £356.75.
So you can grab a box fresh edition of a bundle released in 2014, brand new, for less than the cost of a secondhand example on eBay or Amazon.
And the fact that the box and contents are Japanese probably only makes it cooler for most console hardware collectors, speaking as someone with import consoles dating back to the Master System and NES.
The only catch is that at the moment, Play Asia apparently only have one of the Advanced Warfare bundles in stock. And seeing as they previously were on sale for £558.39 on the site, it’s probably not going to stick around long at the bargain price. So if you want a collectible Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare Xbox One console bundle which has never been touched for £356.75, you might want to snap it up pretty quick!
If you do miss out, then there’s always Amazon sellers with a new boxed edition for £699. But that’s stretching the desirability for even the most hardcore Advanced Warfare or collectible Xbox hardware fan!
