Many CoD lovers went over to Black Ops. It’s only natural. Black Ops was the next instalment from the massive franchise, and it hasn’t really let anyone down. Apart from those who loved Modern Warfare 2 that little bit more.
The only thing is, MW2 has been out for a fair old while now, and so the hacker community has had more than enough time to learn the code to develop their own surprises. But it’s no point developing hacks if you can’t deploy them.
It was the January discovered security hole in Sony’s PlayStation 3 which frustrated IW, because the breach in security resulted in games becoming exposed to hacks of which MW2 was one of them.
Only now have IW released a patch to address the hacking it’s precious title has received these last few months. With the severity of the PS3 issues, it makes sense that this version got the patch first, which has meant the Xbox 360 and PC versions have to hold out a little longer.
Has the patched worked out for you PS3 players? Infinity Ward want to know… And so do we.
