Ever since the Crysis 2 demo emerged from the unknown onto the Xbox 360, there were some weird mishaps. That collection of mishaps expanded exponentially when the demo appeared on the PC, with a patch quickly released to sort out registering and match making issues experienced by many that downloaded it… Including myself.
Now it seems that the PS3 version has got it’s fair share of issues too. However, with the release date of Crysis 2 being so close, EA decided to pull the demo indefinitely to rectify any issues which could hamper the final release copy of the title.
In an official post, appearing on EA’s blog site here, they thanked those that were able to test the multiplayer demo and that “we are aware that others have been experiencing server connection delays.”
“Our priority is to ensure that the final game is flawless at launch.”
Lets hope they can iron out these problems before the release on Friday, 25th March.
