Crysis 2 continues to impress here in the UK. And I have yet to get my hands on a copy for both the 360 and PC. That will surely keep the title on the top spot for another week… Won’t it?!
Many PC gamers have voiced their concerns though, stating that the PC version is built better than the first, but ultimately the second instalment of this monstrous game seems too focused on the console variant.
Well, this shouldn’t have been the case. An earlier post regarding the build up to Crysis 2’s release, we mentioned that Crytek developers were given more cash to tweak the game up for both PC and console versions. They even reaffirmed PC gamers that they would be getting a PC game and not a console friendly port. It seems however, that the PC version hasn’t been given the love we were told it would… Or deserved.
Equally though, with the console variants doing as well as they are, I wouldn’t expect EA or Crytek to be too fussed about this. Why? Because a lot more gamers are turning to consoles than playing on PCs. Thanks to this, Crysis 2 remains top in the UK charts. Lets hope it remains there.
